John Krasinski named as People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2024

Jim Halpert has finally made it!

While some thought that Glenn Powell or Paul Mescal were shoe-ins for the award, the outlet have gone old-school and given it to one of the biggest heartthrobs of the last ten years.

Other winners of the award include Patrick Dempsey for 2023, Chris Evans in 2022 and Paul Rudd in 2021.

Krasinski, who is married to actress Emily Blunt, shared his thoughts on being bestowed with the honour.

“Just immediate blackout, actually. Zero thoughts,” he said.

“Other than maybe I'm being punked. That's not how I wake up, thinking, ‘Is this the day that I'll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?’ And yet it was the day you guys did it. You guys have really raised the bar for me.”

He added that Blunt was "very excited" when she discovered he'd been awarded the title.

“There was a lot of joy involved in me telling her," he said.

Krasinski has two kids with Blunt, 10-year-old Hazel and eight-year-old Violet.
