The selfless thing Katie Price wants to do in the hopes of saving her mum

The star shared the news of her mum's diagnosis earlier this month.

Katie Price revealed this month that her mum, Amy, has been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a terminal lung condition with no known cure.

“My mum’s got something wrong with her lungs and she’s been told she hasn’t got very long to live,” she revealed on Loose Women earlier this month.

Katie is currently on a tour of the UK, meeting and speaking with fans and has apparently revealed her plans to donate a lung to her mother in the hopes of saving her life. According to reports in The Sun, the mum-of-five said at a recent event:

“We’re talking about me giving her one of my lungs. But I’m not sure it will save her.”

Whilst dealing with the heartbreaking news of her mother’s diagnosis, Katie is also in the midst of a split from her husband of four years, Kieran Hyler. She announced her plans to divorce her third husband earlier this week.
