Ellie Kendrick, who played Meera Reed, recently revealed that she is "yet to discover" if she will be appearing in the HBO series' final season.
The 27 year old joined Game of Thrones in season three, spending the following seasons escorting Bran Stark on his journey to eventually become the Three-Eyed Raven.
There's a number of popular fan theories about House Reed and how they could end up playing a vital part in the show's final season.
But the actress admitted that she's still waiting on the phone call to let her know if she would be appearing in Game of Thrones' final season.
She explained to Metro.co.uk:
"Not as far as I know. I don’t know. It’s funny because I always get asked, 'What’s going to happen? Are you in it?' Genuinely the truth is I don’t know. "I wait for the phone to ring and then I find out, but it hasn’t rung so I don’t know. "I’ll find out whether I am or not at some point, but for now I haven’t been notified so I’m yet to discover."Fans last saw Meera in the seventh season, where she bid (a possibly final farewell) to Bran Stark, played by Isaac Hempstead Wright. And while she was sad to part ways with him, Ellie admits there was one silver lining.
She added:
"It was really sad on a personal level, because we had a little gang which dwindled further and further as the seasons went on. "It was a sad day to say farewell to young Isaac – not so young now and also very tall, which means he was so difficult to put on the sled, which I actually did, although he’s a lot taller than me. "So while I was sad to say farewell, I was also slightly relieved for my spine because I no longer have to be dragging him across any wintered land. "I genuinely did drag him. Not all the time, because in really wide shots there was a dummy version of him. "But I did a lot of dragging. "No dragon, just a lot of dragging. I got a very strong back by the end of it."Game of Thrones' eighth and final season is expected to premiere in 2019.
