All this talk of best friends and "seeing" where things "go" comes after Aaron and Kaz had an argument after she and Tyler voted Mary and Aaron as one of the least compatible couples in the villa.
The pair clashed following the infamous vote that saw Brett and Priya leave the villa, leaving three other couples in the bottom. Demanding to know why Kaz and Tyler had voted for him and Mary over Brett and Priya, Aaron said that the couple must be "blind."
He later added that their decision was a "bullshit cop out excuse" and accused them of voting tactically.
Whatever their situation, it does appear as if Mary and Aaron still get on as they appeared quite chummy on last night's Aftersun.
Whether their friendship will blossom into anything more serious remains to be seen.
The Love Island final airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
