“Massive Twists” Ahead For This Eastenders Couple

It was recently revealed that soap favourites Kat and Alfie Moon are to get their own spin off show but before that happens, the producers at EastEnders have a few twists in mind. The man in the know, Dominic Treadwell-Collins or executive producer to give him his full title, spoke to Radio Times about what's in store for the couple. He said: "There are two massive twists coming up for Kat and Alfie in the next couple of weeks in the main show that will give you clues as to what the spin-off show is about. "We want to create something big around them. EastEnders as a brand can afford to do it and I've always wanted to do something like that". Interestingly, the spin-off plans to introduce new faces rather than solely concentrating on Kat and Alfie. "The other important thing about the spin-off show is it's not just about Kat and Alfie - we've created a whole new world and a new lot of characters. "The writers have created a really lovely, interesting world, but also with our style of storytelling". Images via BBC
