Meghan Markle ‘in talks’ with Vogue to write column about her charity work

A Hollywood actress, a Duchess, a mother, a philanthropist, and now she's going to write for Vogue. Meghan Markle is said to be in talks with Anna Wintour about writing a regular column for the fashion bible, discussing her charity work. The Duchess is known for her work with the Hubb Community Kitchen, the charity initiative that supports victims of last summer's tragic Grenfell Tower fires. Meghan has made several visits to the kitchen since she launched her first charity cookbook to raise funds for the community, and that's not all as the Duchess is a patron for both The National Theatre and The Association of Commonwealth Universities. According to insiders, the articles will discuss her charity work around empowering women and gender equality. The Duchess is currently working on a piece for British Vogue’s September issue, but will not feature as the cover star of the magazine, according to reports. A source told The Daily Mail:

"She is working in Vogue as a contributing editor on a few fabulous stories about the causes that are near and dear to her and it may eventually become a regular column”

“The spread in Vogue won’t be a superficial photoshoot – on the contrary, she wants to use it as a platform to make a difference".

Meghan isn’t the first royal to be on the cover of Vogue with her sister-in-law Kate appearing on the front-cover in June 2016. The feature in the September issue will include photos of Meghan Markle taken at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
