Millie Bobby Brown reveals that she has a new name

The world of celebrities and names is a constant revolving door of titles, tags and monikers that change as fast as their popularity does with Millie Bobby Brown becoming the latest member to be welcomed to the club.

However, it is less common and also strange to the ear to hear the changed name of someone who has already made the big time like Millie Bobby Brown.

The star is already synonymous with two names as the 20-year-old became iconic for her role as the character 'Eleven' in the hit Netflix show Stranger Things.

Now she has revealed subtly to social media followers the new name she is going by.

In an Instagram post recently Bobby Brown shared a few snaps from the filming on set of the latest Stranger Things series to her 63.5m followers.

In a selection of images it was the third picture that caught the attention of fans as it showed an piece of tape stuck to a slab of black slate on top of what appears to be a stool.

On the tape it read 'Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi' continuing the alliteration of Bs in her name.

The new title comes after she married Jake Bongiovi in May 2024, the son of Jon Bongiovi, better known as Jon Bon Jovi.

The famous rock star spoke to the BBC about his son's marriage.

He said: "They are great, they are absolutely fantastic.

"It was a very small, family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be. It's true."

The wedding was kept small so not much fanfare or media attention was given to the marriage, making this announcement big enough to send many fans into meltdown.

Under her post one person wrote: "Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi sounds so powerful."

Meanwhile another person used all caps to express their joy as they wrote: "MILLIE BOBBY BROWN BONGIOVI."

Finally one user joked: "Bobby Brown Bongiovi is the new tongue twister."

Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi will appear sometime in 2025 in the fifth series of Stranger Things as it was announced last month that production is only half way through of the thriller.

To the disappointment of many fans, season five will be the very last of the hugely popular show that began in 2016.

Bobby Brown Bongiovi has already said she is ready to say goodbye to the show.

She said: "Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye'."
