Ed Weeks revealed in an interview with Hello Giggles how his The Mindy Project co-star first shared the news of her pregnancy with the cast.
“She took us aside on set, weirdly in the open-office area where we film most of our scenes,” he said. “She said, ‘Guys, I want you to know, I’m pregnant. I haven’t told anybody.’ And then later that day it broke… it broke and nobody knew how it had got out.”
Weeks went on to reveal how Mindy’s latest pregnancy announcement reminded the cast of how crazy life can be, saying:

"When she reminded us all of that, we all cried in the final table read. “Life makes some very interesting and beautiful patterns sometimes.”
