Nicole Kidman FINALLY explains about her weird clapping at the Oscars

It all makes sense now.

After the Oscars, all everyone could talk about was Nicole Kidman's weird clapping. She was caught on camera clapping in a very odd way. People likened her to a seal or the Grinch because she was just using the palm of her hands.

She has finally revealed why she was clapping that way telling KIIS FM that she was wearing a very large ring at the time that she didn't want to damage. She said:

“It was really awkward. I was like, ‘Gosh, I want to clap, I don’t want to not be clapping,’ which would be worse, right?

‘Why isn’t Nicole clapping?’ I’m clapping, but it was really difficult because I had a huge ring on that was not my own, so it was absolutely gorgeous and I was terrified of damaging it."
