Wicked is coming back to Ireland and we’re terribly excited

Yessssssss.

Hit Broadway show Wicked, which tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz,  has been dazzling audiences for almost fifteen years. In some exciting news today; we can finally reveal that Wicked is coming back to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. We'll have to put the brakes on our broomsticks for a little while as it's not flying into Dublin until 2018. Tickets go on sale this Friday which is good enough for us to start brushing up on our lyrics. The Bord Gais Energy Theatre revealed the news today on their website:

"The spectacular, multi record-breaking and critically acclaimed touring production will return for a strictly limited 7 week run from 17 July to September 1 2018"

This will be the second chance for some theatregoers' to see the show, it was previously seen by over 130,000 people during its celebrated Irish premiere back in 2013. Tickets go on sale 9 am9am this Friday 30 June through Ticketmaster outlets.
