The One Tree Hill cast’s ‘mystery project’ has been revealed and we’re VERY excited

Yesterday, we reported that a select few of the One Tree Hill cast had reunited for a “mystery project” and that was enough to get us all very excited. Yes, after years of being totally obsessed with all things Tree Hill and years without it, we were delighted at the thought of some of the cast reuniting. Well, the "mystery project" is no longer a mystery as it was confirmed today what the group were working on - and it might not be what you think.

While we naturally hoped a One Tree Hill revival was on the cards, today it’s been confirmed that some of the series alums will be getting back together for a Lifetime Christmas movie. Yes, Hilarie Burton (Peyton), Robert Buckley (Clay), Danneel Ackles (Rachel), and Antwon Tanner (Skills) will all be reuniting for The Christmas Contract which is due to be released at the end of this year. The movie will tell the story of Jolie (Burton) who returns home for the first time since a big break-up. Realising her ex is bringing home a new girlfriend, Jolie’s best friend Naomi (Ackles) suggests her brother (Buckley) play make-believe boyfriend for a few days. To be honest, the plot is pretty irrelevant. All we need to know is some of our favourite members of the One Tree Hill cast are going to be in a Lifetime Christmas movie and we’re sold. Is it Christmas yet?
