Operation Transformation leader Jean Tierney is leaving the show for an incredible reason

Last night, Operation Transformation leader Jean Tierney revealed some pretty amazing news. The 33-year-old is expecting a baby! Jean described her pregnancy as feeling like she "won the lotto". It follows years of heartbreak for Jean, who lost her baby girl at just five days old. She has also suffered an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage. We're so delighted for her. However, the sad news is that doctors have recommended that Jean leave Operation Transformation. The decision was made because of her difficult medical history, and so she was ordered to cease her programme. She was very honest with viewers about her reasons for leaving. “For me, this is the way to do it. I just didn’t feel it was right to hide away, shy away because there is nothing to be ashamed of." “I have a little baby growing inside me, that’s just fricking amazing." “It’s just so cool. And hopefully, it will get there perfectly. And if it doesn’t well then that’s a different road to climb.” “History has done so much… that happens, but don’t talk about it, put it under the carpet because it shouldn’t be talked about." “You kind of almost felt like you should be ashamed of all this stuff and you should be ashamed if you’re pregnant or you should be ashamed if you lost a child and I think we need to change that. "We need to empower our youngsters to be able to be confident in their body and be able to talk." "If you find out and you’re only four and a half weeks, five weeks, six weeks, tell people, whatever you’re comfortable with.”
