Patrick Dempsey All But Confirms Bridget Jones Role

Rumours had been swirling but it seems Patrick Dempsey has pretty much confirmed his involvement in the new Bridget Jones movie. The actor posted the below picture on his Instagram account this week.

He captioned it: “Nice to be working in England. Renee and Colin are an absolute joy to work with! A good couple of days rehearsing at Pinewood Studios. I really like it here!” It was previously reported that while Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth were happy to return for the sequel, Hugh Grant bowed out of the project. Still, can’t say we’re not pleased with who they’ve brought in! These two are said to be returning.
