Patrick Kielty announces the date for this year’s Late Late Toy Show

Patrick Kielty will host his third Late Late Toy Show this December

The presenter returns to host his third Late Late Toy Show on Friday, December 5th.

Kielty announced the news with the help of Star, a dog from the Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland.

Kielty shared, "Star would like to tell everyone at home that the Late Late Toy Show will be happening right here in this studio on Friday, the 5th of December.

"Applications for kids to be on this year's Toy Show are now officially open. All you have got to do is go to RTE.ie and get your application in."

The dad-of-two advised people to send their entries in as soon as possible.

"So if you have a young person in your life, get your application in."

If you have a very talented kid in your family, then why not sign them up for this year’s Toy Show?

The Toy Show team stated:

“The countdown to the most wonderful night of the year has just begun. The Late Late Toy Show 2025 will be as magical as ever, and we want you to be part of it. We’re looking for kids from all corners of the island, so let us know what’s special about you.

“Whether you want to demonstrate a toy or be part of a performance, complete the application form below. We can’t wait to hear from you."

“Performance auditions will take place in Dublin. Auditions for Toy Demonstrators will be held in Dublin, Cork, and Galway.”

The deadline for applications for Performers is Wednesday, September 24th.

The deadline for Toy Demonstrators and County Parade is Wednesday, October 1st.
