Peter Andre gets emotional as Junior and Princess start secondary school

“I cannot believe it!”

Peter Andre was the latest in a long list of celebrity parents posting about their little ones' first days back at school today. The proud dad shared a video as he and wife Emily drove kids Junior and Princess to their first day of secondary school.

“Right, here we go,” Peter said on the drive. “First day of high school, I cannot believe it! “First-day guys. Junior starts his drama scholarship. Both of them are going to secondary school today for the first time!”

The pair looked excited in the back seat as they wore their new school uniform for the first time. Sharing a picture of the pair ready for the day ahead earlier on his Instagram, Peter said:

“Here they go. Very first day at high school. “They said if I get emotional they’re gonna tell everyone I’m not their dad. “I’m like, ‘I can’t help the pollen count’.”

And that’s exactly what happened as Peter joked about getting emotional as the kids made their way to school. Followers were quick to bring up mum Katie’s absence, as she has been pictured on holidays in Majorca in recent days.

“Good luck Peter, Emily and the kids. Have a fab day,” one follower wrote. “You’re doing marvellously with all the publicity over Katie. Don’t blame you for looking after Princess and Junior.”
