Riverdale have released the promo for the Luke Perry tribute and it is heartbreaking

We're not crying, you're crying.

Riverdale have released the preview for the Luke Perry tribute episode. The 52-year-old - who played Fred Andrews on the CW series - passed away in March, five days after he suffered a stroke. The first episode of the upcoming season, titled In Memoriam, will serve as a tribute to both Perry and his character, Fred. Now, the CW drama has released the trailer for the episode: and be warned, it is seriously heartbreaking. The episode, titled In Memoriam, will be about Archie and the rest of his friends, as well as the town of Riverdale, learning of Fred's death. The footage shows a number of the main characters of Riverdale as they grieve their loss, as well as what appears to be the moment Archie finds out the news. Betty, Jughead, Veronica and Cheryl are all seen putting a flower on Fred's casket. And the footage ends with Archie delivering a heartfelt tribute to Fred.

"Fred Andrews will always be a part of Riverdale - I love you, dad," he says.
