The women of Sex and The City have spoken out after sexual assault allegations emerged and were directed at their co-star Chris Noth. He is set to be in one upcoming episode of the series but will not be appearing in the series after this appearance. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that two women named "Zoe" and "Lily" have both alleged that they were sexually assaulted by Noth in 2004 and in 2015, respectively. A third woman has since come forward with similar allegations dating back to the 90s. Noth has denied these allegations, telling the publication that they were "categorically false" and the relationships with these women were "consensual". He said: "The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false." "These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual." The leading ladies of Sex and The City have now spoken out about the allegations, posting a statement to social media. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kirstin Davis collectively said: "We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. "We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it." First, the now-infamous Peloton ad starring the actor was taken off air and he has since been dropped by his talent agency. According to Variety, the Mr. Big actor has also been sacked from The Equaliser, which he had been starring in. Two of the women making the allegations do not know each other and separately approached the publication to share their alleged encounters with the actor ahead of his reprise on And Just Like That, claiming it brought back painful memories. Both given pseudonyms, Zoe claims she was 22 when the alleged assault took place, working in an entry-level job for a high-profile firm in 2004. Another woman, Lily, alleges she was working as a waitress in the VIP section of a New York nightclub in 2015 when she was 25, and met Noth through work. She claims she was assaulted in his New York apartment.
