Speaking of his departure, he said: “As mentioned on this morning’s show to great national mourning, I’m stepping away from Saturday AM & Sunday AM after next weekend to focus on presenting live football on Virgin Media TV (the new name for TV3) & new Virgin Sport channel, which I’m really looking forward to."
He continued: “After 3 brilliant years, with a ridiculous amount of craic, I will really miss the team and viewers of Saturday AM and Sunday AM. It’s been a great show to work on. Especially the beer tasting.”
