A sequel to Love Actually is happening on TV and we have the date

It's finally happening.

Love Actually was released back in 2003 and still, people are completely and totally obsessed with the film and its vast array of characters. If you've ever wondered what happened with the Peter, Juliet and Mark love triangle or willed Daniel to make a move on Nathalie, you might be about to find out. A ten-minute sequel to the much-loved festive film will air on March 24th as part of BBC's Red Nose day. According to The Telegraph, many of the film's original actors will return for the charity special including Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Rowan Atkinson and Bill Nighy. Alan Rickman, who played Harry, passed away last year and his on-screen wife, Emma Thompson, hasn't yet signed up for the short reprisal. There's no doubt that they will be sorely missed when the cast reunite. Speaking about the news, the film's director, Richard Curtis, said:

"We’ve been delighted and grateful that so many of the cast are around and able to take part - and it’ll certainly be a nostalgic moment getting back together and recreating their characters 14 years later. "We hope to make something that’ll be fun - very much in the spirit of the original film and of Red Nose Day - and which we hope will help bring lots of viewers and cash to the Red Nose Day shows".
