Now, although certain scenes aren't for the faint hearted or those in a room surrounded by their family (and the acting is quite dire) 50 Shades is still certainly one to watch if you're like me and need to see what all the fuss is about - good or bad.
Haven't seen the movie before? Here's a quick synopsis of the first one before it airs on RTÉ2 tonight...
When college senior Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) steps in for her sick roommate to interview businessman Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), little does she realise the path her life will take. Christian, as enigmatic as he is rich and powerful, finds himself strangely drawn to Ana, and she to him. Though sexually inexperienced, Ana plunges headlong into an affair - and learns that Christian's true sexual proclivities push the boundaries of pain and pleasure.Prepare to get hot under the collar. The sex scenes in this movie are certainly present and so, take this as your warning. The film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as stated above and so, EYE CANDY. 50 Shades of Grey airs on RTÉ2 tonight at 9:30pm.
