Add us as a preferred source on Google »Award season is in full swing and some shows (The Bear, Succession) are leaving each ceremony with more awards than they can count.
Other nominees, like 'Daisy Jones and The Six', have sadly missed out on their categories at both the Golden Globes and Emmy Awards.
However, the cast received something a little better than a shiny gold trophy recently.
Sam Claflin, who plays Billy Dunne in the series, recently revealed that Stevie Nicks reached out to them after watching the series.
'Daisy Jones and The Six' is inspired by Fleetwood Mac, but author Taylor Jenkins Reid has always stressed that it isn't a biopic.
The book follows a struggling rock band in the 1970s who are catapulted to fame when they team up with Daisy Jones (Riley Keogh).
The story somewhat mirrors the life of Fleetwood Mac - the heartbreak, the drugs, the partying and the loss, but it stands alone from the iconic band.
Daisy Jones may have been inspired by Stevie Nicks herself, but the story isn't a retelling of the 'Landslide' singer's life.
However, after watching the groundbreaking series, Nicks decided to reach out to the cast.
Speaking at the Golden Globes, 'Catching Fire' actor Sam Claflin revealed that the Gypsy singer contacted him personally.
He told E! News: "Stevie Nicks reached out personally, which to me, is [like] I've won already. I don't care about winning tonight. I feel like that recognition, to me, means the world."
Claflin added: "She sent me a bunch of flowers. I arrived to L.A. with this note. That to me is everything. So I feel very smug right now, very, very blessed."
This isn't the first time Nicks has praised the cast of the drama series.
After watching the series twice, Nicks told her Instagram followers that she felt like "a ghost watching my own story".
"Just finished watching Daisy Jones + the 6 for the 2nd time. In the beginning, it wasn't really my story, but Riley seamlessly, soon became my story.
"It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story. It was very emotional for me. I just wish Christine could have seen it. She would have loved it," she added.
The 'Daisy Jones and The Six' cast may not have won an Emmy, but they've got Stevie Nicks' approval and that's a lot cooler than any trophy.
