Stranger Things fans, rejoice! Netflix has some great news

Phew!

For two seasons now, Stranger Things has made it impossible for us to look away. Yes, season two proved just as impressive as the first, leaving fans begging for the story to continue. Well, good news fans, as Netflix has just announced that season three is a go. Taking the Twitter this weekend, Netflix asked fans is they thought they should make another season for the show. And while we’re sure it wasn’t the deciding factor, they were quickly inundated with fans demanding a new season, with nearly 90 percent voting for more.

“For the love of Steve, duh,” they replied before gleefully announcing, “So hold tight baby darts – season three is officially happening”.

While there has been no official information shared about the next season, it is being reported that it is still being written meaning we still have a way to go before it’s release - many saying 2019. It was previously suggested that the show would last for four seasons, according to co-creator Ross Duffer, however, since then he and producer Shawn Levy have suggested it could go on for a lot longer. While that news is yet to be confirmed, for now, we can relax knowing there is a season three coming.
