The first look at Netflix’s To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You is here

The wait is almost over.

OK, well, not really: there's still about two-or-so months to go. But still, To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You is getting closer. And now, we have our first look at the upcoming sequel to the Netflix romantic comedy - and our hearts have totally melted.

The description of the film, which lands on Netflix on February 12, reads:

"It’s a new year and Lara Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter (Noah Centineo) are no longer pretending to be a couple. They ARE a couple. "And, as Lara Jean navigates a trove of official firsts with Peter — her first real kiss, her first real date, her first Valentine’s Day — she finds herself leaning more on Kitty and Margot (Anna Cathcart and Janel Parrish), Chris (Madeleine Arthur), and an unexpected new confidant, Stormy (Holland Taylor), to help her manage the complex emotions that come with this new chapter of balancing a relationship and figuring out her authentic self. "But when John Ambrose (Jordan Fisher), another recipient of one of Lara Jean’s old love letters, enters her life again she must rely on herself more than ever as she’s confronted with her first real dilemma: Can she love two boys at the same time?"

Director Michael Fimognari spoke to Entertainment Weekly about To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You about Peter and Lara's relationship - and the arrival of John Ambrose McClaren. "We still have the little drop in the pond that was created in the first movie, which is these love letters that got sent out, and the ripple of that gets to come back,” he explained, referencing the arrival of McClaren at the end of the first movie. Now played by Jordan Fisher, McClaren - who also received one of Lara's letters in the first movie - will be there to "mix it up". “They’re true friends,” actress Lana Condor said of her character Lara Jean and John. “But because you can love your friend very much, you get confused. You’re like, ‘Do I love him or do I love him as a friend?’ So he’s really there to mix it up.” “We certainly want there to be a Team Peter and a Team John," Fimognari added.
