There’s a load of Twitter drama happening between Kanye and John Legend

Kanye West made a return to Twitter recently and ever since there’s been a near constant discussion over what he’s been saying. Yes, Kanye’s tweets are random AF but haven’t we come to expect that from the fella who famously tweeted about how emotional fonts make him feel? However, in one of his latest tweets, Kanye seemed to reveal that his Twitter activity as of late has caused a rift between him and close friend, John Legend. Yeezy took to Twitter yesterday to talk politics, and as you can imagine, it didn’t go all that well.

After tweeting a picture of himself wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, Kanye seemed to share a screenshot of a text he received from John Legend, and John didn’t sound happy.

But it looks like the pair are having an amicable political disagreement as Kanye later tweeted an update in his messages from John where the singer took the opportunity to plug his new music.

I really appreciate this dialogue with John Legend because I'm actually very empathetic. Im still the kid from the telethon. I feel when people think of MAGA they don't think of empathy.

And it’s not just Kanye and John who are the focus of much Twitter chatter, their wives Kim and Chrissy are also getting involved – sort of. Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram a little earlier to respond to her followers who asked her to comment on the apparent “drama” between Kanye and John, saying: “When it comes to people we know, we DO speak up. To THEM. Not on Twitter. And sometimes, I guess it makes it to Twitter.”

Chrissy then injected her usual amount of humour into the mix to dissolve the tension by tweeting Kim Kardashian, asking about their weekend plans.
