This Is Us recently shared their very first look at the highly anticipated season two - and it was an absolute tear-jerker. The drama series was one of the stand out shows of the last year, leading to it being renewed for not one but two seasons. But it turns out things will be very different when season two returns. Fans will be seeing the Pearson family "in a different decade that you've never seen before" when the show returns - at least, according to one of the show's directors. Regina King, who recently finished directing a season two episode, added to ELLE.com:

“I think that’s giving enough without getting in trouble with NBC, right?”

We've already seen the '70s. '80s, '90s and the present day in the NBC drama series - so are we traveling further into the future next? Or could fans be getting ready to ring in Y2K with their family? We're definitely a bit confused. Viewers won't have too long left to wonder, as season two debuts in the US on September 26.
