WATCH: Amy Schumer’s dad meeting ‘love of his life’ Goldie Hawn will have you in floods

We're welling up.

You may have noticed that Amy Schumer has been travelling with screen legend Goldie Hawn to promote their new film Snatched. Last week Amy told Graham Norton that her father Gordon is a big fan of Goldie and now that the pair are back in the States, the comedian brought her co-star to meet her dad. Gordon tears up as he waits to meet Goldie, joking that the weather is to blame. The rest will warm your heart - check it out.

Gordon has suffered with Multiple Sclerosis since Amy was 12 and lives in a care facility in New York. She has spoken in the past about how her dad's illness has affected her. "It affects your relationships for sure," she told CBS in 2015. "Everybody I meet and I'm like, 'Yeah, he's cool, but would, like, would I push him in a wheelchair? You know, would I want him to push me?' So, yeah, I go there pretty quick. Other people are like, 'Should we go to Hawaii on vacation?' I'm like, 'Do I want you to change my colostomy bag?' It just changes your perspective."
