WATCH: This Remake of the Friends Intro Is Probably The Creepiest Thing You’ll See Today

There's been a lot of love for Friends recently.  The sitcom, which marks its 21st birthday this year is being celebrated all over again in all sorts of weird and wonderful ways. We were super excited when FriendsFest was announced, and also a little bit thrilled that ComedyCentral decided to play every episode in chronological order from the very start. There's been a slew of outtakes, deleted scenes and "where-are-they-nows" surfacing, but we think this remake of the iconic intro is possibly one of the strangest tributes to the show yet. YouTube user Merfish decided to give the opening credits a very creepy Grand Theft Auto treatment with some very creepy results. Our favorite friends have been replaced with murderers and criminals and we are not happy about it.
