As Wannabe turns 21 this year, we've only just found out the actual meaning of the famous lyrics, "zig-a-zig-ah". The line, which was sung by Mel B, has always puzzled fans as to its true meaning. Now, we finally know the answer. It turns out it's short for 'sh*t and cigars'. According to The Sun, the girls and the writers of the song gave another musician that nickname. He was working in the studio at the same time as the band, and when he went to the toilet he used to smoke a cigar. So, they nicknamed him 'sh*t and cigar', which eventually got shortened down by Mel when she sang, "zig-a-zig-ah". A source said:

"There was this one 80s pop dude who hated us for encroaching what he considered 'his turf' which was boy bands and girl bands. This guy had this nasty habit of taking a dump in the shared khazi while smoking a cigar, so we took to referring to him as 'S**t and Cigars'."
