Woman claims her psoriasis disappeared after using €5.30 baby moisturiser

If there's one thing that we can't be dealing with, it's psoriasis and eczema. Not only are the skin conditions uncomfortable and painful, but they're also a genuine hindrance to everyday life, making it difficult to sleep, relax, and even bathe. Adult psoriasis is categorised by dry skin that sometimes bleeds, itchy sores, and burning rashes. The condition is caused by the sped up growth of skin cells, that leads to the appearance of extra cells on the skin's surface that often manifest in scales and red patches. Many people find it difficult to keep their psoriasis at bay, resorting to expensive creams and ointments that can sometimes make the condition worse. Laura Gray is one of those people. The British woman said that usually, she relied on prescription cream to get rid of the psoriasis that tends to cover her neck, chest, and arms. However, recently her mum told her to try Child's Farm baby moisturiser and Laura said that it literally made her scaly skin disappear. Not bad for a cream that costs under six quid. Laura wrote on Facebook:

"I suffer from psoriasis, have done for years. I get it all up my arms, neck and chest and up until yesterday only hydrocortisone cream would get rid of it, but it’s really harsh and only pharmacists can give you it. "Yesterday my Mam told me to try this baby moisturiser, I’m not joking 24 hours later my psoriasis is gone! Anyone suffering with psoriasis or eczema you need to try this."

Laura then later confirmed that she does not worth for Child's Farm, she simply wanted to share her post to help other people who may be living with similar conditions. She said: "I put the post on my Facebook page simply to tell my friends at last I had found a product that helped my poor skin." Laura isn't the only person who's had joy with Child's Farm either. Last year, a mum named Paige Sweeney wrote on Facebook that the cream had helped her daughter's eczema - so much so that the toddler was finally able to get a good night's sleep after spending so long scratching herself. Sounds promising enough, in fairness. Child's Farm moisturiser is available in a load of pharmacies including Boots for €5.29.
