You may want it to be unique, but not so unique that they end up spelling it out for the rest of their lives. At the same time, you may not want them to be sharing a name with half the class. And you'll probably want it to match up with your surname, too. Thankfully, Bounty have come to the rescue and put together a list of 40 baby names - 20 for boys, 20 for girls - that are predicted to be popular in the next ten years. The pregnancy and parenthood company have tracked 300,000 names to find the highest-climbing names of the last 12 months, in an effort to see which names will be trending this decade. "Having assessed over 300,000 names for the stand-out highest climbers over the last 12 months we can predict which exactly which name trends are set to take off," a spokesperson said [via Hull Live]. "This is because, outside of official birth registration lists (which are published 18 months behind) ours is the largest, most up-to-date baby names list in the UK – making it guaranteed to bring you the latest trends in baby names."
