The Lovely Old Lady
There is always an old dear on the bus who is just downright cute, asks how your day was and in general, gives you a bit of TLC. Nothing brightens up our day more than having a catch up with this lady.
The Popular Peeps
We all love using our phones as a distraction on public transport. In fact, there's nothing better to while away the time. However, some people just don't know the meaning of the words 'silence setting'. Yes, we can hear you getting five million Whats Apps. Yes, we can hear the keypad tones on your phone as you type furiously back. No, we don't have the patience to deal with it.The incessant beeping is driving us demented.
The Familiar Faces
There's always those familiar faces on your bus journey, be it your every day commute or your trip back home, you are bound to spot a face you know on your public transport.
The Beat Blasters...
We love music here at Her Towers and there’s nothing we like more than sitting back and relaxing to a few good tunes. But on public transport why is there always someone who blares the music so loudly that not only are you left bewildered as to how they are not deaf, it’s impossible for you to concentrate on anything but the lyrics.
The Gentleman
We all know one of those lovely old men who give up their seat for you even though you've no problem standing the few stops you are on and just remind you of your dear old Grandad. Bless.
The Deodorant Lovers
We all like to spruce ourselves up before we arrive at our destination, but next time you take out the spray deodorant/overbearing perfume, please spare a little consideration for the person sitting near you. Enclosed. Space. People.
The space hoggers…
Another pet hate are those dreadfully sound people on flights who plonk their seat back on top of you just as the cabin crew start to serve the meal. Cheers lads. (*balances tray on nose*)Aunts are as important as mothers when raising daughters, according to science
Aunts are pretty special A parenting expert has claimed that aunties are just as important as mothers when it comes to raising daughters. Steve Biddulph, psychologist and author of Raising Girls and 10 Things Girls Need Most, says aunts play a crucial role in the development process of girls and young women. Speaking to ABC’s […]
