Armpit ink is the next big tattoo trend… and we’re all for it

We’ve got quite the impressive tattoo Pinterest board - but we didn't even pin this.

Filled with everything from cute quotes to travel inspo tattoos, we’ve curated such a gorgeous board we can't make up our mind what we want. However, our collection is missing this new tattoo trend. Armpit tattoos are becoming more and more popular, with people choosing the super discrete option and sharing the results on social media.

Yes, it may sound very odd, the results are anything but. From flowers to plants, people are lifting their arms to reveal some seriously impressive art work.

And while we don't want to get ourselves into the "did your tattoo hurt?" territory, we can't imagine the armpit is the most comfortable spot to get inked. Even the thought of getting it waxed leaves us watery-eyed.

We'll hold our hands up and say we've added some of these stunning pieces to our Pinterest boards. But, we do have one question... how weird would it look when the armpit hair grows out?
