If you've yet to put your Christmas tree up then you may want to keep reading.
Experts have discovered the best date to get your Christmas tree up to avoid bad luck.
According to the experts at Balsam Hill, it's best to hold off until the third Sunday of Advent.
They believe you should be putting up your tree anywhere between November 27th to December 3rd.
This year, however, the perfect day falls this Sunday (December 3rd), so mark your diaries as that's when you need to either dust off your artificial tree from storage or head out to pick up a real pine-fresh one.
With that being said, not everyone adheres to these ideas and many people will have their trees up as soon as December hits and there's nothing wrong with that.

As several psychotherapists have explained, people often associate Christmas decorations with feelings of nostalgia and childhood excitement.
Plus, while putting up Christmas decorations is fun, it can also be a lot of work.
Lugging all of the ornaments and boxes out of the basement or attic is kind of a bummer if you know in a few weeks you’ll have to do it all over again to put them away.
Why not leave more time to sit back and appreciate your efforts?
