Cheryl Fernandez-Versini to Quit X Factor?!

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has hinted that she may not return to The X Factor next year… or at least, she would have to think about it. According to the Daily Star, the singer said that the experience is emotionally draining and that is something she would have to consider if invited back to reprise her role on the show in 2015. Cheryl rejoined Simon Cowell on this year's judging panel. When asked about the prospect, she explained: “That’s a question Simon (Cowell) would have to ask me himself. Then I would have to talk about it because it’s been very emotional.” The 31-year-old continued: “You get attached, you try not to but we’re human at the end of the day, you can’t help but feel the emotion, it’s tough. You’ve probably seen us shrinking week on week.” Lauren Platt is the latest act to be eliminated from the competition. Cheryl famously returned to The X Factor panel this year after failing to make an impression on the US version of the programme. While her comeback seems to have been reasonably successful, she did lose her last remaining act in the competition at the weekend. Lauren Platt was eliminated on Sunday night after losing out to Andrea Faustini in the sing-off.
