Women are being warned about a type of clothes hook being used in toilets

Well, this is slightly terrifying.

There's a new type of clothes hook being installed in bathrooms and women are being told to watch out for them. The new hooks look like regular hooks that you would hang your coat or bag on while you use a public toilet. BUT, they actually contain a little camera that records everything from within the toilet. It looks something like this one. The camera is hidden in the top part of the hook through a tiny little hole. According to The Mirror, it's already becoming an issue in the States and could potentially make it's way to the rest of the world. The 'spy' hooks are already on sale in the UK and cost as little as £14. If you see a hook that you think doesn't look right, best to leave that bathroom immediately.
