The Irish Times reports the home will be sold at auction later this month, and given the state of the some of the Dublin homes asking for a whole lot more, this property may actually be worth the hefty expected selling price. It's fairly stunning, after all.
The beautifully restored Georgian home boasts three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a gorgeously decorated and plant-heavy back garden providing a much needed respite from Dublin 8 life. The home also has a garden house including a bedroom, bathroom, and office.
Speaking on the show earlier this year, Kevin said that the house wasn't in great condition when he bought it, "but that appealed to me because I have a passion for restoration of old houses.
"We restored the facade and the layout of the house to how it was built almost 200 years ago," he said.
"Internally we preserved as much as we possibly could. We searched for appropriate furnishings for the house that we knew could be antique and second hand. We felt if it fitted our house and our style, we purchased them."
“My favourite spot is in the garden, gardening is my hobby so I spend several hours a week working on it," he went on.
"This space allows me to enjoy the work I put in. You get gorgeous sunshine here to enjoy a glass of wine, read a book or read a newspaper. It’s like an oasis in the city centre.
