The internet is divided over this guy’s post about his ‘curvy’ wife

Robbie and Sarah Tripp are in a loving relationship.

One's an author, the other's a body-positive blogger. The pair regularly post cute pics of themselves on their respective Instagram pages much to the delight of hundreds of their followers. Today, Robbie shared another photo of him and Sarah on a beach. The couple are gazing lovingly into each other's eyes while the waves crash in the background.

In the photo's caption, Robbie wrote:

"I love this woman and her curvy body. As a teenager, I was often teased by my friends for my attraction to girls on the thicker side, ones who were shorter and curvier, girls that the average (basic) bro might refer to as "chubby" or even "fat." Then, as I became a man and started to educate myself on issues such as feminism and how the media marginalizes women by portraying a very narrow and very specific standard of beauty (thin, tall, lean) I realized how many men have bought into that lie."

He went on to say that although his wife's body "won't be the one featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan," she is still the one that stole his heart.

"There's nothing sexier to me than a woman who is both curvy and confident; this gorgeous girl I married fills out every inch of her jeans and is still the most beautiful one in the room."

Robbie ended the post by asking other men to consider real women who aren't "a porn star or a bikini mannequin or a movie character." He also told women that the perfect guy for them was out there, and that they would "love you like I love my Sarah." Another commented that the post was "insulting" and argued that a woman would rarely say something similar about a man.
