Is This The Luckiest Town In Ireland?!

Looks like we might just have to make a road trip... It’s time to hit the road guys and head for the midlands as it looks as though Mullingar in Co. Westmeath could well be one of the luckiest towns in the country. The town hit headlines two weeks ago when the local Tesco sold a €5.9 million Lotto ticket, and this isn't the first time as a €10 million jackpot was also scooped in the store in recent years. The winning streak in the Lake County didn’t end there though as earlier this week, Rochfort’s shop on Dominick Street in the town centre sold a €250,000 winning Lotto Plus 2 ticket. With big jackpots ahead it looks like Mullingar may well be the place to be to buy that winning ticket… Don’t forget us when you’re rich!
