Marissa Carter shares advice for those who got their LC results

We have all been there, Leaving Cert results day can be a very daunting time. Between receiving your points and trying to plan what you are going to do with the rest of your life, it can all seem very overwhelming. But the truth is (and the part the teachers don't tell you) the Leaving Cert is not the "be all and end all". Everyone takes different paths to success in life and sometimes the very thing you thought you didn't want turns out to be exactly what you needed and you will appreciate it in the long run. I know first hand, and I am so grateful thinking back that things didn't work out in my favour on results day because I might not be where I am right now. Another women who knows that the road to success isn't always straightforward is entrepreneur, owner and founder of Cocoa Brown, Marissa Carter. Marissa Carter spoke exclusively to Her.ie to give you some life advice this results day. Those who don’t like you want you to stop moving so fast so they can catch up. Don’t listen to any voice but your own when you’re setting your goals."
