Netflix share warning advising people not to watch Ted Bundy documentary alone

Netflix has shared a warning re the Ted Bundy docu-series that's been released.

Confessions of a Serial Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes was released yesterday (Thursday 24 January) and the four-part documentary features interviews that took place while he was on death row. It also includes archives images and excerpts from recordings of the interviews and the release date is particularly relevant as it marks 30 years since Bundy was executed on 24 January 1989. He confessed to 30 murders but investigators believe the real death toll could be much higher than that, exceeding at least 100 victims. Yesterday, the hugely popular streaming site shared a warning advising people not to watch the series alone. The tweet, posted on the Netflix UK and Ireland account read:

"For those of us with a PhD in true crime podcasts, Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes is now streaming. Maybe don't watch it alone x".

Yikes. Naturally enough, people started freaking out and yeah, it's likely to have even more people watching now.

Some aren't too bothered about the warning and can't wait to watch it, regardless of the viewing partner advice.
