PICS: Little Girl Dubbed “Most Beautiful Girl In The World” Lands Controversial Modelling Contract

A ten-year-old girl, often referred to as the "most beautiful girl in the world" has landed a coveted modelling contract with LA Models. However, the news has been met with some trepidation from those who feel the child is being overly sexualised in some of her shots, and attracting unwanted attention. Russian-born Kristina Pimenova who now lives in LA, has been modelling since she was three, and has been photographed for Vogue Italia, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, DSquared2 and many more.

She has racked up 1.2 million Instagram followers and almost four million likes on her Facebook page, however many take issue with the nature of some the little girl's photos, particularly those where she is in bed or on the beach in a bikini.

Her social media accounts are run by her mother, Glikeriya Pimenova, who hit out at claims that she has over-sexualised her child. Speaking to the Mail Online last year, she said: "I am certain in my mind all her photographs are absolutely innocent. "You must think like a paedophile in order to see something sexual in these pictures, so it is time for you to see a doctor."

LA models owner Heinz Holba said of the new signing: "To have notoriety in the modelling world at the young age of 10 is not a small feat. "The agency is looking forward to having a long-lasting relationship with this little supermodel."
