Pongo The Orangutan Meets His Mother For The First Time Since Birth

Meet Pongo, the beautiful baby orangutan from Atlanta Zoo. The one-year-old orangutan was delivered by Caesarean section and was raised by zookeepers until his mother recovered from this birth. According to the Metro, the pair were introduced through a barrier for safety but Pongo's mother, Blaze, reached out a curious hand to her infant. ‘After several weeks of consistent daily introductions, Blaze and Pongo began living together full-time and have been bonding ever since,’ a spokesman for the US zoo said.
