Puppies, Princesses And Pampering – The Best Of Tonight’s TV

From staying young forver to finding love, there is something for everyone on TV tonight... 1. Somebody to Love, RTÉ1, 9.35pm. This observational documentary focusing on the romantic lives and experiences of people with physical or mental disabilities looks particularly interesting. Contributors for the programme include Mandy Finlay, who has Down's syndrome, wheelchair user Ciara Staunton, and Sarah and John Paul Fitzgerald, who both have cerebral palsy. 2. Maia Dunphy's What Women Want, RTÉ Two, 9.35pm. For the first in the series, Maia will be looking into botox treatments and how women approaching a certain age deal with growing older in a world obsessed with looking young. 3. Dogs: Their Secret Lives, Channel 4, 8pm. Following on from the amazing BBC series, this particular programme examines all aspects of a dog's life. This particular episode follows Layla the springer spaniel, Nash the cairn terrier and Great Dane Thor as they bark and growl their way through their daily lives, and finds out how understanding canine body language could prevent attacks. 4. Russia's Lost Princesses, BBC Two, 8pm. In the second episode of this series, the focus turns to the final four years of the lives of Tsar Nicholas II's daughters Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia. The family were later exiled to Siberia and executed. 5. The 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, Sky Living, 9pm. If you missed last night's glitzy ceremony, Sky Living will be showing all of the highlights from the major categories from 9pm. We LOVE a good awards ceremony.
