With five events in total taking place at Kenmare, Killarney (taking the spot as the biggest adventure race in the world), Glendalough, Achill (bring your fancy dress) and West Wales - Quest ensures that those wanting to push themselves and achieve something great will never be short of spectacular rustic destinations.
Best of all, your current level of fitness doesn't matter - Quest has plenty of training opportunities, providing a 12 week individual plan for Couch to Quest, Sport Route and Expert Route.
They also throw some pretty savage after parties (hurrah!) so you can build up your strength and meet like-minded adventurous people before you get going on the adventure trail that is running, cycling and kayaking.
Besides the five main events named above, there’s the Quest 12/24 that covers a distance 140km to 253km (yikes!) aimed at endurance athletes. (Phew.) Just FYI.
The one thing that has us VERY excited though is Quest's Rookie Week, taking place on Monday June 25 to Friday June 29, where all us beginners will have the opportunity to get started on the greatest outdoor adventure ever! Sign up on their Facebook page if you think you're feeling like having the absolute craic, joining an immensely friendly and supportive community AND getting fit all at the same time.
Rookie Week will also see a lucky participant nabbing a prize for two places on next October's Quest Killarney, and that all-important accommodation too!
