The sign has been up for yonks so God only knows where it's gone off to. Plus, someone has to be going around Dublin looking mighty sketch with a huge black sign in their hands. Or, it could be an April Fools joke, because honestly... we don't believe anything today. It was recently announced that Coppers went up for sale. According to the Irish Times, Copper Face Jacks is officially up for sale, with sources saying it could sell for up to €40 million. Along with the Jackson Court Hotel, the club went on sale on Thursday by private treaty. “The opportunity to acquire both the iconic ‘Coppers’ and the substantial Jackson Court Hotel is one of those projects that come to market once in a generation,” Dermot Curtin, of DC Curtin & Associates, who has been appointed to manage the sale, said. “It is now time to hand over the reins to new owners who have the energy and the expertise to take Coppers to the next level," the owner, Cathal Jackson commented. Now, where's that sign?Hi @gardainfo, would you be able to help us? We seem to be missing something. Our iconic Coppers sign is missing/stolen. Any help appreciated. pic.twitter.com/T9Y5XfzJwj
