This Letter From Harper Lee To A Young Fan Is So Sweet

Yesterday the sad news broke that Harper Lee, acclaimed author of To Kill A Mockingbird passed away yesterday. Since then the literary world has been paying tribute to the writer who died at the age of 89. Letters of Note drew our attention to a lovely correspondence she had with a fan who had written asking for a signed photo: Dear Jeremy I don't have a picture of myself, so please accept these few lines: As you grow up, always tell the truth, do no harm to others, and don't think you are the most important being on earth.
