The 45-year-old's book, The Amazing True Story of How Babies Are Made, includes chapters on IVF, sperm donation, caesarean sections and premature births as well as conception and birth, puberty, genitals and reproductive system information.
The political cartoonist explained: "I wanted to be a bit more scientific and clearer in my approach, and to show the mechanics of everything.
"Since 1973, assisted reproduction has become increasingly common and is also part of the story of how the egg meets sperm... even though they meet in a different way."
Let's just say this is a lot more 'digestible' than our most recent (and slightly disturbing) sex education literary discovery...
