The reason? A certain much anticipated All Ireland semi-final replay between Kerry and Mayo. Anyone getting married this weekend would have initially thought they were safe - but last Saturday's thrilling 2-14 to 2-14 draw means Mayo and Kerry will do it all again on August 26. Yes, with a 3pm throw-in at Croke Park, brides and grooms run a serious risk of witnessing a mass exodus from their reception in favour of the nearest bar with a screen. The latest wedding update from my Mum ? pic.twitter.com/ASW7VFfLLN

Indeed, it's a conundrum that Laura's own wedding guests are definitely aware of... and she's already been fielding queries from her conflicted invitees. Kerryman Dan O'Neill, who will be attending Ms Holland's celebration in the stunning AnnaCarriga estate in Killaloe Co Clare, Whatsapp'd her to check what time dinner will be served at.Ah lads, any other day for the replay #KerryvMayo ???

"Don't even think about it!" she warned him in response... however, Laura - who marries Limerick-native Cillian Mullane - did eventually concede that dinner kicks off at around 5.30pm. Which should give guests just enough time to get back to their seats... even if extra time of 20minutes is added. As for the prospect of a strangely sparsely-populated drinks reception post-ceremony? More vol au vents for the rest of us!@laurholland wedding in Clare next weekend. Trying to figure out logistics for the replay... #KerryvMayo pic.twitter.com/4ksXuT096Z
