The store which was located in the outdoor plaza to the back of the shopping centre first opened its doors in Dublin 14 back in 2007 and will be a major loss for lovers of the brand.
The good news is however, you can still find the US retailer at their city centre location in Temple Bar. The Temple Bar store first opened in 2000 and explaining their choice for the location back in the noughties, Hugh Wahla, acting managing director for Urban Outfitters Europe said: "The decision to locate in Temple Bar rather than a main retail street is part of our policy; we are not your typical high street retailers, we prefer more off-the-beaten-track locations and Temple Bar is the perfect place for a lifestyle store."
Hmmm perhaps this is why DTC just wasn't their cup of tea.
