These Valentine’s Day cards by an Irish artist are perfect for anyone with a quirky sense of humour

Valentine's Day can end up being quite stressful. Whether you celebrate it with your other half or not, sometimes even a small gesture can go a long way. A simple card can be more than enough if there is thought and time gone in to it. You could opt to make your own, but if you're not very crafty this isn't always ideal. This is where Irish designer Ellen McCann comes in. ''I've worked for and received recognition from a range of celebrity fans. Some of these include the Kardashian Family, Jlo, Chrissy Teigen, Pat McGrath, Lily Collins, Michael Costello and Roberto Cavalli to name a few.'' Ellen told Her.

Ellen's latest project is not just for the stars, however, and is all about Valentines. She has a range or cute, yet funny cards that will suit couples with a quirky sense of humour.   What's more is that you can cater the card to make it the perfect gift for your other half.

''I design, write and send a Valentines or greeting card on behalf of someone for €20. They can choose from a selection of Nelle Illustration designs, who they want it sent to, whether or not they want to remain anonymous, what the message says inside the card, or, if they're brave enough they can leave that part up to me.'' ''If they choose for me to write the card they then must select from one of three options on the naughtiness scale,'' Ellen explains ''One being 'Light Petting' they can expect something pretty cheesy with this option, the second 'Foreplay' cheese with and an equal amount of naughtiness or the third option 'Hardcore Horndog', I think that speaks for itself.''

The cards are already proving very popular and Ellen said that within the first 12 hours of launching the Valentines offer, she's been inundated with inquiries and orders. ''It's all very exciting,'' She adds. The cards can be delivered almost anywhere in the world so if you're in a long-distance relationship it could be the perfect gesture.
